This course is an introduction to business competence and is designed to demonstrate that the holder possesses the basic knowledge and understanding required to help them understand how business operates.

The course can be accredited through ITEC or endorsed by ITOL (Institute for Training & Organisational Learning).

Business accounts and business documents	Debtors & creditors
Measuring business performance	Business expenses
Understanding costs	VAT
Types of business	Tax
Assets and liabilities	Depreciation
	Capital expenses

 

The course requires candidates to take a short test to demonstrate the they have gained the necessary knowledge to achieve this qualification.

This course is essential for any individuals who are considering setting up in business or for individuals interested in business studies or entrepreneurship.

Upon successful completion, students can progress to the Diploma in Business Competence.
