Mark Clelland – Director of Training

Mark is always happy to discuss your training needs and different methods of training, as our director, he is our most experienced and qualified trainer.

He worked as a senior manager for Royal Mail plc for over 10 years, where he was responsible for over 400 employees. He then progressed into further education as a Business Planning Manager at Derwentside College, where Mark discovered his chosen profession.

Mark is definitely a learning junkie and has continued to study since leaving school. He now holds many professional qualifications, including a PGCE, NEBOSH and an MBA. He is currently working towards a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA)

Victoria Matthews – Business Development Manager

Your first point of contact for any enquiry, Vic has worked in the training/education sector for nearly 10 years and has a wealth of knowledge regarding funding, progression routes and awarding body criteria.

Vic holds a Level 3 in Advice & Guidance and a Level 5 in Management. She is currently working towards a Level 7 Diploma in Executive Management.

Gemma Maughan – Business Administrator (Apprentice)

Our newest addition to the Cool Blue team, Gemma has already settled in well and gets on well with all of our clients.

Gemma recently finished her A-Levels and decided she wanted to join the “rat race” straight away.

Sharon Unsworth – Company Secretary

Our company secretary who ensures that everybody else is doing what they should be doing! Sharon also works as a trainer on a ad-hoc basis specialising in Customer Care, Food and Administration Management.

Sharon holds a Level 5 in Management and is currently working towards her Level 4 in Advice & Guidance.

Trevor Longworth – Strategic Consultant

Anne Burns – Quality & Training Consultant

A highly efficient and conscientious verifier, Anne is the one who keeps us all in check, ensuring that everything we do meets her required standard. Anne has worked with many respected organisations  in our region including NECC and Durham Constabulary, and has also ran her own business.

Anne holds the D32,33,34 qualification’s and is currently working towards her Level 4 in Learning & Development.
